Congratulations to everyone for raising a magnificent total of over £8,000 for the St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice at Grimsby. Mike Gresham came down on the night of Saturday 7th November to receive the cheque on their behalf.
There has been some tremendous fund raising activities once again this year. They include the National 3 Peaks Challenge and the Coast to Coast bike ride.
For those of you who are new to Golden Sands, we have been raising money for the Hospice for over 9 years now. The Hospice does a remarkable job of caring for terminally ill children in this area and also helping the parents and families to cope in what is always a traumatic time for them.
Mike Gresham will be again coming down on to once again update you all on the Hospice at the beginning of the season.
In the mean time if anyone has any suggestions for fund raising activities for next year or would like any help in organising an event please let us know.
